Galería Maestros del Arte is one of a handful of small galleries in the charming artist colony village of Ajijic, Jalisco, at Lake Chapala, Mexico - just south of Guadalajara 30 minutes from the Guadalajara International Airport.

The goal of the gallery is to promote the indigenous folk art of Mexico. Owner Marianne Carlson travels throughout Mexico to find unique folk art for the gallery. She offers a wide range of unique handcrafted Mexican folk art and crafts.

Marianne spends countless hours finding new and interesting ways to display the many pieces of folk art to their best advantage. As you stroll around the bright and cheery interior, you will see Marianne’s gourd art along with other whimsical Mexican art - great care is taken to selecting unique, affordable pieces.
