Vicky Batiz is from the state of Michoácan. She is a jazz musician, artist, and fiber artist in cactus yarns.

Vicky has her yarns spun from agave and dyed to her specifications. She then designs the sweaters, mixing agave with other natural and synthetic fibers. Each garment is one of a kind. Her designs are exquisite. When she began unpacking at Maestros del Arte 2003, all the women gasped at the breathtaking dresses, sweaters and other designs she was laying out on the tables - unbelieveable colors and textures.

She does not have a retail outlet but you can purchase her work through this website. Vicky also sells in New York and Paris through ambassadors' wives overseas.
