Evita Avery has been selling folk art for 25 years, 18 of those years in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. She started selling contemporary folk art and gradually moved into antique pieces - folk furniture, pottery etc.

Evita was raised in northern Mexico in the state of Coahuila. Her mother collected folk art and her appreciation for the "older" side of Mexico became apparent at a very early age. She has worked in the San Antonio Museum Association with their folk art collections.

2007 will be Evita's first time at Feria Maestros del Arte. We're looking forward to giving the public an opportunity to see the "older" side of Mexican Folk Art..
